Account Executive

We are seeking an experienced sales professional to join our growing sales team. As an Account Executive, you will leverage your strong network of business relationships, and will prospect into target industries to sell IT management solutions to executives at small- and mid-tier businesses. You will work with the Director of Sales and Marketing to plan and coordinate sales activities; and embrace ITDataâ€™s market positioning and messaging to acquire new customers.

General Responsibilities

* Leverage your network of business relationships to identify new business opportunities and develop new Director-level and above relationships
* Prospect each week into the assigned target industries to identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with Director level and above contacts
* Make introductory presentations to executives and managers at new business accounts and those accounts where potential opportunities have been uncovered through telesales.
* Work with the Sales and Marketing Director to strategize and plan each opportunity in the sales pipeline.
* Follow the ITData selling process and document progress with each qualified opportunity in ITData's opportunity management system.

Requirements

* Minimum of five years experience selling IT solutions
* Experience selling hosted services a plus
* Exceptional written and oral communication skills
* Solid experience using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
* Experience using opportunity management software
* BA or BS degree (preferably a technical degree); MBA a plus
